The Hall

A magnificent room that has been the centre of College life since its founding in 1496, the Hall has a slightly raised dais to one end and a balcony at second floor level overlooking the room. On the walls are pictures of previous Masters and students of the college, as well as the Royal Arms of Queen Anne. Chandeliers suspended from the high vaulted ceilings provide adjustable levels of lighting to complement light from the tall windows.

Easily served by the kitchens below, the Hall provides a striking venue for fine dining or a formal dinner for up to 146 guests. Further guests can also be accommodated by linking the balcony and the Upper Hall.
