Upper Hall

This spacious room dates back to the foundation of the college by Bishop Alcock. Medieval carvings decorate the crossbeams of the restored roof. Arched windows along each side of the room provide the room with ample natural daylight that adds to the airy and fresh feel of the room. The white washed walls are undecorated except for the mural by Richard Long 'River Avon Mud, 1996'. This hall is on the top level of the college buildings and leads onto the balcony that overlooks the Hall.

Availability & Suitability
The Upper Hall is available for as a plenary session room for meetings, formal and buffet dining and exhibitions in both term time and during holidays.

The Upper Hall is also licensed for civil wedding ceremonies for the numbers listed under the Rooms Capacities section.
