The Pavilion Veranda skirts the listed 19th century College Cricket Pavilion. Sitting beneath the eaves of the thatched oak building, it is a relaxed and peaceful setting with views over the cricket pitch and landscaped gardens of the college. Behind the pavilion is the Grove where Coleridge wrote A Wish Written in Jesus Wood, 1792, and the sculpture of The Cricketer, depicting a cricketing hare by Barry Flanagan, stands just outside the boundary.
During the summer months, the Pavilion Veranda is available as a reception venue and can host a drinks reception or buffet reception for up to 30 guests.
